The Bazaar of Tabriz is one of\nthe largest and most important bazaars in middle East. The architecture style,\nplanty of shops, several jobs and many historic \nmosques and schools beside the arcades, make it as a symbol of a\ncommercial environment and islamic, oriental life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tabriz lies on the way of East and\nwest, so from the early days of existence it was regarded as a suitable place\nfor goods exchanging between Europe and Asia,\nalso for exporting it’s fine industrial and agricultural products, many bazaars\nand bargain centers were needed, to sell them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are many writings about Tabriz bazaars,\nmerchandise and commercial conditions, written by historians, geographers and moslem\nor foreign tourists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the reign of Nadershah,\nthere was no register in Tabriz security and trading but during the reign of Karimkhan\nTabriz had a relative register in trading and security, Ahmad Khan Danbali in\nkhoy and Najafgolikhan Baiglari in Tabriz were the security founders, Tabriz\nbecame the power center and many palaces and citadels were built. After an\nearthquake in 1760 A.D. making rampart around the city started. This great wall\nhad eight gates: khiyaban gate, Ala\nor Bagmishe gate, Sorkhab gate, Shotorban gate, Estanboul gate, Sard gate,\nMehadmahin gate, and Nobar gate, the next years some small markets were made\nbehind the gates and mostly joined to central bazaar. Some of the small markets\nwere these: khiyaban Rangli Bazaar (colory bazaar) \u2013 Bagmishe market- Sorkhab\nmarket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shotorban market- Estanbul market\nand Qajil door market. They are remained today and are known as the same names.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the reign of Abbas Mirza\nTabriz was the second capital city (the succession to the thrown was living\nthere), so many excellent bazaars and arcades were built and merchants with\nseveral goods and merchandise came to Tabriz.\nThe central State supported the merchants of Tabriz. The trading developed and Tabriz became an important\ncity for traders and tourists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
